Raleigh City Councilor Hosts RaleighPlus Series of Town Hall Style Google Hangouts
Raleigh – Bonner Gaylord, a two-term district city councilor for the City of Raleigh, hosted the first in a new series of Google+ Hangouts named Raleigh Plus. After the inaugural event, Councilor Gaylord expressed excitement for the innovative way to connect with community members and said he looked forward to doing it again on specific topic.
“Our residents know exactly what this city needs. They’re the ones sending their kids to school, driving on our streets and patronizing businesses. I am glad to have another way to hear from them and discuss how we move Raleigh forward.” Said City Councilor Bonner Gaylord
Raleigh Plus is an opportunity to engage the Raleigh community, give supporters real hands on participation in Gaylord’s re-election campaign and discuss issues of interest with people that may be too busy to come to events after hours. The Google Hangouts give residents the a chance to talk to the Councilor on a variety of topics while at their desk at work, on their computers at home or even via their tablets and phones while on the go.
The Campaign to reelect Bonner Gaylord organized Raleigh Plus and will announce future events in the coming days.
